Features:
Pikovit D is indicated in: loss of appetite, excessive tiredness from school, during antibiotic treatment, as adjuvant, to supplement the diet with vitamins and minerals.
Composition: One tablet contains:
retinol palmitate (vitamin A) 600 IU (0.35 mg), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 80 IU (0.08 mg), ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 10 mg, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1) 0.25 mg, riboflavin ( Vitamin B2) 0.30 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 0.30 mg, cyanocobalamin (B12) 0.20 mg, nicotinamide (vitamin PP) 3 mg, 0.04 mg folic acid, calcium pantothenate 1 20 mg, calcium as calcium hydrogen phosphate 12.5 mg, phosphorus as calcium hydrogen phosphate 10 mg. Other ingredients: maltitol, maltitol syrup, mannitol, polyvidone, magnesium stearate, 600 Capol Pharma, glycerol, castor oil , polysorbate 80, colloidal silica, strawberry flavor.
Each yellow tablet contains: 1% b-carotene (E 160a), titanium dioxide (E171).
Each orange tablet contains: 1% b-carotene (E 160a), titanium dioxide (E171).
Each green tablet contains : Indigotin (E132), quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E171).
Each red tablet contains: oxides and hydroxides (E172), titanium dioxide (E171).
Dosage:
Children 4 to 6 years: The recommended dose is one tablet Pikovit D administered orally for 4 to 5 times a day. Children aged between 7 and 14 years: The recommended dose is one tablet Pikovit D oral by 5-7 times daily. The child must keep Pikovit D dragee in mouth until total dissolution.
If lack of appetite, Pikovit D will be given for two months, in other cases when necessary.

Undesirable effects: when used in recommended doses of the product, no adverse reactions were reported. However, possible allergic reactions. If side effects occur, will be discontinued and will ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Pikovit D tablets containing 0, 6 g of maltitol and the recommended dose does not produce side effects. Higher doses than recommended may cause diarrhea.
Precautions if hypersensitivity reactions, treatment with Pikovit D tablets should be discontinued.
Pikovit D tablets are not recommended for children under 4 years. Before concomitant use of other vitamin preparations, combinations of vitamins and minerals or mineral, the patient should ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Patients with diabetes must take into account that each tablet contains 0.6 g maltitol Pikovit D and daily dose contains from 2.4 to 4.2 g maltitol. Maltitol is required for insulin metabolism, but because hydrolising and slow gastrointestinal absorption, insulin requirement is small. In addition, the energy value of maltitol is significantly lower than that of sugar (10 kJ / g or 2.4 kcal / g).
The energy value of a tablet is 6 kJ (1.4 kcal).
